This election season is getting my goat. I’ll be so relieved when it’s over.

I cannot stand Sarah Palin. I used to have some respect for John McCain but when he showed extreme bad judgment in a cynical attempt to woo Hillary supporters and brought her in as his running mate, I could not believe it. She’s a fool and a tool.

You would think that spending $150,000 to dress her, she’d at least look less dowdy-Republican. If I were a hottie like her and someone gave me that much money for fashion, I’d at least be cutting edge. But I can’t imagine having that expensive a wardrobe. Crazy.

One thing I’ll say about her–she’s ambitious. If McCain loses the election, this will not be the last we have heard of her. She so obviously gunning for a run for the President in 2012.

Governor Palin says her first amendment rights are being trampled on by the criticism of the press. She also stated that the Vice President is in charge of the U.S. Senate. She has no grasp of the U.S. Constitution.

The whole Joe the Plumber meme is getting old too. He’s no plumber, and he’s a tax evader to boot. The Republican wingnuts’ fascination with him is mind boggling.

McCain is relying so much on Joe that at a rally in Ohio, he called for Joe the Plumber to stand up and he wasn’t there because of a mix-up. Oh well, I guess we all are Joe the Plumber, according to McCain.

McCain and Palin’s rallies are pitiful examples of the politics of fear. After all but accusing Senator Obama of being a terrorist and a socialist, it turns out at that same rally they were busing in 4000 local school kids to fill in the gaps.
