Minnesota Senate Race

It looks like finally, FINALLY the Minnesota Senate race is over. It appears after the recount of wrongly-rejected absentee ballots, Democrat Al Franken is the winner over Republican Incumbant Norm Coleman by 225 votes.

Whoops, spoke too soon–Coleman has vowed to keep fighting, so it isn’t over yet for at least a week. Also Senator John Cornyn, R-Texas, claims he will filibuster if Franken tries to be seated, so there will be much political entertainment to come! Pop some popcorn and gather around the old TV set!
