I am not a self-promoter. None of my podcasts have ever had that many listeners, except maybe Rocky Horror Pod Show, and then not even. One time, Coffee and Tea Show had a bump of ratings on Podcast Alley though.
I mostly listen to small and/or new podcasters because they need the ratings and I want to help them out. But I used to listen to Evil Genius Chronicles, where Dave Slusher once asked the question to the effect of how small of an audience do you have to have where you’d stop podcasting? Personally, nobody listens to my show, so it would be pretty small–I’ve stopped podcasting several times but it was because of complications in real life, not due to lack of downloads.
I am in the mood for some psychobilly, so I play “Thelma and Louise” by Horrorpops, from their album “Kiss Kiss Kill Kill.” I found them on MusicAlley.
