This is pretty good!

Hurts nobody and gives the prank-ees a little bit of the Halloween shivers and a belly laugh. My favorite part was when the wife was instructing her husband to poke the suspiciously still trick-or-treater with fireplace tools, at least the brush tool. Well done, ExFilms!

Last spring my mother-in-law passed away suddenly. She had been caring for her 86-year-old brother Clifford, who is suffering from severe memory loss. He ended up moving in with us (part of the reason I took a long hiatus from podcasting) and because he is a wander risk, I had to leave my job to stay home with him fulltime. But he’s a friendly and funny old guy and most of the time I don’t mind. Here is an extremely edited version of our walk around the block, which actually took 45 minutes. Walking with Clifford is not an aerobic exercise, by any means!

Just in time for Halloween, this video from The University of Nottingham is very interesting–the science of burning candles is unbelievably complicated. You can see more scientific videos at PeriodicVideos.com.
