Ginger Campbell of Brain Science Podcast as well as Books and Ideas Podcast called in to wish me well and as an addendum to my teenage sex show, she will be interviewing David Bainbridge, author of Teenagers: A Natural History.
I recently read an article in LA Times about the controversial wolf hunt in Yellowstone Park, in which a radio-collared alpha Wolf 527, subject of a scientific study, was murdered by hunters who lured her out of the park. Clearly this is pandering to entitled assholes who only want a trophy–it’s not like they need the wolves for food. I’m related to hunters and am trying to understand their reasoning as I’m a city girl and a vegan to boot. But I am so angered I have to calm myself down.
The music I am playing today is “Between New and Old” by For Tomorrow, which I found on MusicAlley. You can download their album Forever and A Day for free, and I strongly suggest you do so.
